Today, I bring you a special podcast, where I’ll be talking about the World WIldlife Fund (WWF). Founded in 1961, WWF was created as an international organization to raise awareness and promote worldscale conservation by raising financial support in collaboration with existing conservation groups. In this podcast, I’ll be specifically talking about WWF’s Oceans Initiative in extensive detail through the format of a monologue.
In this monologue, I began with an introduction where I gave background information on WWF and I talked about how it relates to my blog website rhythmicadventures.music.blog. Then, the podcast transitions to its first PSA by Catherine Geller. In her PSA, Catherine talks about WWF’s Climate Initiative. After this PSA, I then go into the segment of why protecting our ocean even matters. I list four reasons, giving background information on each reason. The podcast then segues into another PSA, which was done by Manuela George. In her PSA, Manuela discusses WWF’s Food Initiative. After Manuela’s PSA is over, I discussed three actions that WWF is implementing to protect our ocean. Lastly, I end the podcast with my PSA where I call onto listeners to take a call of action regarding WWF’s Oceans Initiative.
